By placing an order with Blooms for Love, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These policies help us provide consistent, high-quality service while setting clear expectations for our customers.

Floral Designs & Substitutions

Blooms for Love creates custom, seasonal floral arrangements using fresh flowers available at the time of design. While we make every effort to honour the colours, style, and feel shown online, specific flower varieties cannot be guaranteed.

If a particular flower is unavailable, we may substitute with blooms of equal or greater value while maintaining the integrity, colour palette, and overall design aesthetic.

By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept our substitution policy.

Flower Delivery Information

Blooms for Love offers local flower delivery across Hamilton, Burlington, and surrounding areas, including Stoney Creek, Grimsby, Waterdown, Oakville, and Milton.

• Delivery days: Tuesday–Saturday
• Delivery fee: Flat rate of $15 within a 40 km radius of Hamilton, ON
• Orders placed by 7:00 pm qualify for next-day delivery
• Future delivery dates may be selected at checkout
• Delivery window: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm

Exact delivery times cannot be guaranteed, as delivery routes are optimized daily based on volume and location.

If the Recipient Is Not Home

If the recipient is not available at the time of delivery:

In warmer weather, flowers may be left in a safe, sheltered location at the driver’s discretion.
In colder months, we will attempt to contact the recipient to avoid flowers being left outside to freeze.

If flowers cannot be safely delivered and redelivery is required, an additional delivery fee may apply.

Blooms for Love is not responsible for flowers once they have been delivered to the address provided.

Quality, Freshness & Care

All arrangements are handcrafted using fresh flowers and prepared with care. Because flowers are natural and perishable, longevity depends on environmental factors such as temperature, handling, and care after delivery.

Care instructions are provided with each order. Blooms for Love cannot guarantee vase life beyond the day of delivery.

How to Care for Your Fresh Flowers

At Blooms for Love, we design with premium, seasonal blooms chosen for freshness and longevity. With proper care, most arrangements will last 5–10 days, depending on flower varieties and environment.

Best practices for longer-lasting flowers:

Replace water every 1–2 days
Clean the vase thoroughly before refilling
Re-cut stems at an angle every few days with clean shears
Keep flowers out of direct sun and away from heat
Remove wilting blooms as needed

Because flowers are natural and seasonal, some varieties may open gradually while others reach peak beauty quickly. This variation is normal and part of working with fresh, living materials.

If you ever have concerns about your arrangement, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery with photos. We’re always happy to help.

Sales, Refunds & Store Credit

Due to the perishable and custom nature of floral products, all sales are final.

If there is a significant issue due to an error on our part — such as incorrect delivery or a major quality concern — please contact us within 24 hours of delivery, including clear photos.

At our discretion, we may offer:
• A replacement arrangement, or
• A store credit for future use

Cash refunds are not offered.

Photos displayed on our website are representative of style, colour palette, and overall design. Each arrangement is unique, and exact replication cannot be guaranteed.

Order Changes & Cancellations

Orders may be modified or cancelled up to 24 hours prior to the scheduled delivery date. Changes requested after this time cannot be guaranteed.

During peak floral holidays — including Valentine’s Day and Mother’s Day — cancellations or changes may not be possible once orders are in production.

Unforeseen Circumstances

Blooms for Love is not responsible for delays or issues caused by circumstances beyond our control, including severe weather, road closures, supplier disruptions, or other unforeseen events.
